If your invitation states you may bring a plus one or if your invitation states your plus ones name, you may bring them. We have to provide exact numbers for catering and the space is limited to exactly 100 guest, so we cannot accommodate extra guest.

Yes, as long as they are included on the invitation. If they were not included and you feel they should have been, please reach out to either Brent or Tyrone. If your invitation says "The X Family" the children are included.

Please try to stay at the Renaissance hotel in Times Square. We have a special rate which is listed in the Hotel Block section of this website. If you see that rooms have run out, please reach out to Brent and I will ask for more to be added. We will also have transportation before the wedding from the hotel to the venue per below.

This is a tough one as JFK, LGA, and EWR all have their benefits depending on where you are coming from. None of them have simple convenient travel to Manhattan, so pick the one with a direct flight from your location. LGA and JFK are my preferred. LGA when traveling to Arkansas and JFK for all other travel.

No. The venue is in Manhattan, so please expect to find a garage nearby or to find another way to get into the city.

The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. It is the same venue and the indoors and outdoors areas connect to make one long venue. If there is inclement weather the entire event will be in the reception hall.

Yes. Beginning at approximately 4:30 PM, two Sprinter vans will begin transporting guests from the hotel to the venue. While the venue is only a few blocks away, we wanted to ensure everyone remains comfortable, especially given the August weather.

We will be providing dinner, a five-hour open bar, a champagne toast, and a welcome drink upon arrival. Gratuities for the catering and bar staff have already been included. However, if you would like to offer an additional tip in appreciation of exceptional service, you are welcome to do so.

No. Due to all of the occasions and festivities, there is simply not enough time to do everything. We will see you all during the week and at the wedding. We hope to spend time with each and everyone of you.

Brent proposed to Tyrone on the Odyssey of the Seas cruise ship in the Cape Liberty Cruise Port facing NYC and the Statue of Liberty on 4/13/2025.

We aren't sure yet.

We discussed this and it was the easiest place around to us for folks to travel to. We didn't want to do a destination wedding because we think those are unreasonable for the guest. We also had a vibe we were going for, and the city met that vibe.
