66 Days To Go!
Jessica Smith
Jessica Smith - Groomswoman - Brent
Jessica and Brent have been lifelong friends. They connect on a level that only the best of friends do. Jessica and Brent have lived apart for nearly 15 years now since Brent started wandering around the country, but they always stay connected…even if months go by without chatting. There are too many stories to tell here and their journey in life started before either of them remember much, t-ball. Brent considers himself part of Jessica’s family and they always welcome him with open arms. Jessica is a wonderful, warm, open person who cares deeply for the people around her. She is the hardest working person Brent knows and makes him look lazy, which he is to a degree.
Jeffrey Davies
Jeffrey Davies - Groomsman - Brent
Jeffrey, Jeffrey, Jeffrey, the kind heart of the group. I met Jeff the same time as I met Bryan Gearin and Frank DelCampo. Jeff is always the one to initiate the party, but then it’s time for bed. Jeff is the planner of the group. He orders my food (at tapas restaurants), tells me which cruise to book, tells me which airline, hotel, train, etc., to book, and most importantly cares that I am there. He is a 2nd grade teacher by profession, but his real job is wrangling the 5 (or 6 when Brad’s around) of us until a reasonable bed time hour. Occasionally though, “3 AM!” Jeff will listen and offer advice if wanted. He will also judge harshly if needed. If you didn’t know, Jeff can drop it. He’ll show you if you ask. He is also the one that usually makes things less awkward when new people come around, except for that time in Nassau, Bahamas talking about Britney. He is a great friend and I am thankful for him everyday.
Bryan Gearin
Bryan Gearin - Groomsman - Brent
Bryan Gearin and I met the same day and time that I met Jeffrey Davies and Frank DelCampo. Bryan and Jeff always know when I’m going to laugh at something inappropriate and look at me with either a smirk or a “no!” Bryan would be the nerdy one if it weren’t for others. Bryan and I are known for our fast-skips in Atlantic City, although I’m not allowed to talk about it. We’ve tried our fast-skips in other places, but we always get yelled at. Fridays are a special day with Bryan, for me at least, because I am going to get punched in the arm while being told “It’s Friday!” Bryan and I have our own wavelength of understanding that goes back to the top of the paragraph. He understands Brentisms clearly and then explains them to the group. Bryan is a dedicated friend who has showed up for me over the years, he helped me move once, and I cherish him greatly.
Frank Delcampo
Frank Delcampo - Groomsman - Brent
Frank is the closest in age to me of the four of us that all met at the same time (Jeff Davies, Bryan Gearin). He is roughly 3 months younger than me. Frank is the gamer, the rocket launch enthusiasts, the Googler (but after a reasonable amount of debate), and the one that is up for anything. Frank and I have had our share of solo nights out, without Jeff and Bryan (which still feels weird because it’s like the extra security of people there to bail with is gone). Frank is the one I can depend on if I want to stay out, but I usually end up bailing before he does. He is our nerdy one in the most endearing way. He is the hype man, but also the critic. He is always honest, to a fault and will never lead you astray. Frank is a dear friend and I am very grateful he is in my life.
Brad Griffies
Brad Griffies - Flower Dude
Brad Griffies, oh what a man he is. Brad is THE personality of personalities. He is grand, ornate, opulent, and the life of the party. Professionally, he designs and makes beautiful costumes for figure skaters, which have graced the ice in the past 7 Winter Olympics. Unprofessionally, he is a piano bar star, dancer, comedian, and a lovely person to have by your side. Brent and Tyrone regard Brad highly and continue to go annually on a friends cruise that Brad coordinates and forces everyone on. Get ready to watch Brad as he dazzles you down the aisle with his flower basket.
Shivani Boodhoo
Shivani Boodhoo - Groomswoman - Tyrone
Shivani is the definition of loyalty and love. She is also kind, caring, the type you want holding your hair back while you throw up over the toilet. Tyrone has always been inspired by her sense of adventure and her sense of self - he can always depend on her to always dress up for Comic Con or accompany him to a concert in case Brent doesn't want to. She is Tyrone's friend since high school, now Groomswoman for life.
Carla Billena
Carla Billena - Groomswoman - Tyrone
Carla and Tyrone met in high school and has been best of friends ever since. They were inseperable in high school - to the point that they were mistaken as a couple by how much they've been seen locking arms in the hallway. Together, they've survived heartbreak, career lows, and every milestone in between. And after years of sharing the best and worst moments when it came to the men in their lives, Tyrone couldn't imagine saying "I do" without Carla as his Maid-of-Honor.
Natalie Lingayo
Natalie Lingayo - Groomswoman - Tyrone
Natalie is Tyrone's youngest sister. Tyrone may not win "Best Big Brother" every year, but he did successfully scare her out of student debt and convinced her to apply to Macaulay Honors College for a free ride to whatever she wants to study. Now, she is graduating debt-free the same year Tyrone is getting married, and he couldn't be more proud!
Nicole Lingayo
Nicole Lingayo - Groomswoman - Tyrone
Nicole is the Tyrone's sister and the middle child of the family. Tyrone is kind of jealous that Nicole got all of the creative talent. She's passionate about everything Disney (she even worked at Disney World through the Disney college program). She is also Napoleon's favorite auntie.
Pritam Chhanya
Pritam Chhanya - Usher
Pritam and Brent met on May 26th, 2015. They were not instant friends. Pritam and Brent’s first interaction went like this “Hey, I’m Pritam. Come on, we have a meeting to go to.” Brent had been at this new job in a new state for approximately 30 minutes, and she already wanted him to go to a meeting! After that, Pritam and Brent became the best of friends, walking on the nearby nature trail instead of working, Brent coming to her family’s home and spending holidays with them, and much more. Pritam’s entire family welcomed Brent into their live’s and he regards them as family to this day. Pritam and Brent have been through a lot of life together, but that’s a story for another time.
Brad Honeycutt - Groomsman - Brent
The brother.
Charles Bounds
Charles Bounds - Singer
Brent met Charles one day at the Blue Moon restaurant in Rehoboth Beach, DE (Bev says to try the crab cakes.). Brent was instantly enamored with Charles. Charles is a performer at the Blue Moon and host several fabulous shows a week. He is one of the kindest and most sincere people you will ever meet. Tyrone met Charles many years later when Brent and he went to Rehoboth for their first trip together. Tyrone was likewise enamored by Charles. His charisma and charm will seduce anyone or it’s his ability to read people and make us laugh. One or the other. Charles deserves the grandest of stages and we are delighted that he is going to be with us sharing his gift.
Haley Honeycutt - Reception
The sister-in-law.
Morgan Honeycutt
Morgan Honeycutt - Reception
The niece.
Peyton Honeycutt - Best Man - Brent
The nephew.
Carla Miller
Carla Miller - Usher
Carla was my closest friend in law-school. Carla is the good student, the studier, the give it your best, and the most caring person. She is the one to call when a scorpion stings you on the shoulder at 10 PM. (Amazing she was actually awake!). She is the one to call for anything really. Carla may not know a thing about plates, but she knows how to be a real friend. (Carla used Christmas plates as her main dish wear until, well she probably threw away the Corel I gave her and got the Christmas dishes back out.). Carla is also one of the strongest people I know. She has been through so much, yet still always greets you with a warm smile and hug. Carla has been a huge part of my life since she came into it in 2008 and will be as long as she lets me stay.
